Uncomplicated Grace
“God’s Grace is not complicated. Let’s simplify it.”
Grace
God’s Grace is sufficient for us. Even when we try to complicate it. It covers a multitude of sins and it is big enough to cover even the parts we feel like cannot be covered. We don’t have to walk in shame or guilt when we walk in the light we gain from His Grace.
Mercy
God’s Mercy is what we are given, even when we don’t deserve it. We didn’t earn it. It was freely given to us by the sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ. How amazing is that? Nothing we do could ever make us worthy, but God thought we were from the beginning.
Peace
Peace is a promise we receive from God that He gives to us even when it doesn’t make sense. When the world’s circumstances leave us feeling shaken, upside down, and out of order, the peace we receive from the Holy Spirit covers us.
“I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Psalm 91:2
Walking in the covering of His word prepares us for battle.
We find our refuge in Him, who we can trust completely even when the world feels like it is falling apart around us.
